I sort of agree with both of you. I wouldn't mind the Finale list being 
public and searchable, were it not for the Spam this has generated in 
the past. I am also much more bothered by the constant data that is 
being gathered about me - photos are probably the least important of 
that data.

Not really.  It bothers me much more that every time I go to an airport, 
bank, shopping mall, convenience store, etc, pictures are taken of me.  
But that's life in the modern world.
