Finale's Unconventional Key Signature algorithm hasn't changed a bit since Finale 1.0, largely because it is so specialized a feature that Coda/MakeMusic have never felt any urgency to improve it. Agreed. If it were only as simple as having a window with the staff, clef, sharps, flats, naturals, and being able to drag the symbols to where they are required on the staff, it would be great!
Absolutely. And (not the first time I've said this in this list), I wish there was a one-click (or few-clicks) way of getting a perfectly ordinary quarter-tone setup.
