Perhaps that is the root of the problem. I used simple entry to put the rest in and it would simply disappear when I changed to speedy (to make the vertical adjustment). I'll try entering the rest with speedy entry. I do remember receiving that error message a long time ago, in another score, & I couldn't figure out why I didn't get that message this time. Guess I'm getting old and feeble minded;-).
