Christopher,

If Clone Lyrics was used originally, select Lyrics/Adjust Syllables, click the note, click the lower handle, click Delete, and type in the change.

Sorry I forgot. FinMac 2005.

Hello all,

I used to know this, but I haven't used it in a long time because I always duplicate lyrics and assign them separately to each voice of a choir.

I have a file that was sent to me of a choral work, where one set of lyrics was assigned to all four voices without duplication. I need to make some minor edits, like removing a syllable here and there to change it to "Ooh." I need to de-assign a syllable on one note, WITHOUT removing the syllable from the rest of the voices which have this same syllable assigned to it and need to keep it assigned.

I tried in Adjust Syllables hitting Clear (on the numeric keypad) and Delete (over the Enter key), but both of those removes the syllable from ALL voices.

What is the keystroke to deassign a single syllable? Mass Edit>Clear Items>Entry Items... Lyrics will do it, but on complete measures, plus it takes an awful lot of mousing. There must be a single key to do this.

Please don't tell me to clear all the lyrics and re-enter them properly. That would be overkill for these minor edits.

Thanks in advance,

Christopher
