Well, Guy, I'm sorry, but I gotta say, Norton's system *does* sound kinda... well... dim.

(Now, please, no harrumphing -- no personal offense is intended -- heck, *you* didn't design it.)

But I mean, what would happen, say, if I wrote you an email saying I'd somehow managed to finagle us tickets to the hottest musical on Broadway, and wrote you all excited to tell you the great news... but also happened to mention the show's title in the email subject heading?

Cheers,

- Darcy

Well, I am sorry that I ever mentioned it!

It is not necessary to flame me because my ISP (Cox Cable) AND Symantec (creators of Norton Anit-Spam) choose to label suspected SPAM as SPAM.

You may not like Norton but for many years I have found their products to be reliable and generally user friendly. But then I am just an end-user with little computer savy. If you want to send out messages that say "SPAM" in the subject line then go ahead!

I will just allow my software(s) to put you in the SPAM folder and not worry about moving you FROM the BLOCKED list to the ALLOWED list.

Unsophisticated indeed! Harrumph!

Sorry about that.

There's no need to apologize. A spam filter that automatically labels messages with "Spam" in the subject as such is the most utterly unsophisticated filter of which I've ever heard. Guy, I heartily recommend that you find a new filtering mechanism.
