They always print just fine, but it's pretty ugly on screen.
I don't think it can be helped. They looked fine in Finale 2K2 and earlier, and their ugly current appearance seems to have to do with changes to font rendering under OSX. I've learned to put up with it, since the printed appearance of this font is so superior, but still...
