The beaming is now correct.
However, the music is still unnecessarily difficult to read because your spacing is quite distorted. For instance, m.33 beat 2, it looks like there is almost *more* space between the two sixteenth notes than there is between the eighth note and the sixteenth notes. There are a couple of things you can do in Finale to fix this:
1) In your Finale Document Options -> Music Spacing, your "Minimum Distance Between Notes With Ties" is too large. Set it to a smaller number and respace.
2) Lock your layout (Mass Edit tool, Select All, Mass Edit -> Lock Systems) and then in Document Options, Music Spacing, in "Avoid Collision of," turn OFF "Lyrics," then respace This will fix many of the music spacing problems, although you may now have lyric collisions. You can adjust those syllables in the lyric tool so they no longer collide.
Lyric syllables should not distort the music spacing unless absolutely necessary. For more on this, get Steve Powell's excellent book "Music Engraving Today."

Before I go any further in correcting the rest of the song, could y'all tell
me if this is correct now? The only other thing I wasn't sure about is the
beaming - when to and when not to in vocals... Seems like there's some rule
about not beaming if there are different syllables...?
And thanks for the book recommendations! I will try to get these as soon as
I can - I just have to have this particular song ready by tonight, so I
really appreciate your help with this!
