I have been asking this very rudimental basic function since v1.0 (well,
I actually called Code around v2.6 time :-) and my workaround is iKey :-(

No, bookmarks have to be programmed first.
What they're looking for is a simple key-combination that opens a Go To
Measure ___ dialog so you don't have to take your hands off the keyboard
to get to a particular measure, the way you do now, having to move the
mouse cursor to the measure number at the bottom of the screen in order
to type in the measure number to have the display move to.
