[Finale] Garritan Personal Orchestra Recommendation?

Does anyone have experience of Garritan Personal Orchestra and would 
recommend the product or are there superior alternatives?
Are there limitations of usefulness that are not covered in normal "sales 
pitches"?  e.g. Are there functional dependencies on latest versions of 
Finale or type of sound card being used?  [I have Finale 2002, a 
Soundblaster Audigy Live sound card, but no MIDI keyboard or other 
independent sound modules]
