My process is very similar to Johannes', but I combine 1,3,4 into the first
step whenever possible, using Simple Entry. The only thing I'd add is that
between steps 3 and 4 I do lyric entry.

I also save libraries out of everything, and at the end of the project, I
make sure that anything that was a PITA to create goes into my default file
and libraries for that client. I have a sort of a "clean up period" after a
project where if I decided that one of my settings needs to be changed, that
it percolate into my other templates.
