This is to the Mac geeks here:
Since I upgraded to 10.3.9 I have one problem with my Mac: After the
computer has been asleep it takes several minutes to open Safari.
Since I changed to OS X (now 10.3.9) It has always taken several
minutes to awaken.
I have a G4 500 MHz, 384 ram.
If I then quit and reload Safari it's very fast (a few seconds). But
after the next sleep the problem is back.
Safari *is* a bit slower for me too with 10.3.9, come to think of it.
And often it won't quit (even with previous OSX versions ), so I have
to Force Quit.

Apparently this is a common problem with 10.3.9, but does anyone know
a fix?
Here is what I tried:
Repair permissions.
Downloaded the Combo Updater and did the update again.
HD check using Disk utility.
Run Cron scripts.
What else can I try?
