Eh? What are you talking about? The transition was from 16-bit Windows to 32-bit Windows, and that happened with WinFin97. Then it took them a version or two to get MIDI working on Windows NT. WinXP is not a new version of Windows. It is a minor point upgrade to Windows 2000, which was itself a major upgrade from Windows NT 4. The vast majority of the changes in WinXP are cosmetic or involving default settings (such as the the SP2 firewall), none of which directly impact Finale's functionality. One might think that the changed Windows driver model might have had an impact on Finale's EPS export, but that was introduced in Win98, which Finale supports, so that's clearly not the cause of Finale's problems. > . . . so I'm not too surprised by the above.
