This is a little puzzling to me.  OGL is for real-time update.  Static
image shouldn't have that much benefit from it.  You say dragging/
scrolling shows slowness then I'd think OGL is not working properly.

I don't think you understood what I meant. I didn't say dragging/scrolling shows slowness in Sib. I said the *opposite* of that.

I also said dragging/scrolling might be slow for David because he does not (as far as I know) have a modern, OpenGL-compatible video card in his machine.
