I'm sure that's the way to go. There should be two-way communication between open documents and templates:
1. It should be possible to apply a given template to an existing document, instantly changing its house style. 2. When a change is made in the parameters of the open document there should be an option to make this same change in the corresponding template. For instance, when I've just created a new expression in the piece I'm working on, and think it would be useful for other pieces, I'd like to have an "add to template" button.
