I would like to draw your collective attention to the following snippet from
Jari's review:

<QUOTE>
Since all the copying options appear in one single dialog box, the separate
Copy Everything menu item has now been removed. One side effect of this is that
you can't have a custom set of copying options while you still copy everything
as you could do in earlier Finale versions.
</QUOTE>

Remember some time back that I warned that sometimes programs take away
features as well as add them. I consider the removal of Copy Everything to be
major takeaway. It now applies both to drag operations as well as clipboard
copying. It has two major implications besides the already huge one that Jari
mentioned. 1) It means you are required to navigate dialog boxes to change
anything about Mass Edit behavior and 2) TG Tools Smart Explosion (and similar
plugins) no longer can know for sure they are copying everything. If you don't
have it right when you start, you will have to undo and start over. You are
probably SOL if you are already copying everything except articulations and you
fail to notice until it is too late.

If (like I do) you think the willful removal of the Copy Everything menu item
is as confiscatory and arbitrary as I do, please let MM know separately. I've
already said as much to them as will do any good: perhaps more. Perhaps the
only thing that can make a difference now is a groundswell of protest.
