The installer we were given to test was not the installer that shipped. This was for size reasons -- the full installer (including GPO Finale Edition) was much too large to be posted to the Coda FTP server.
Also, just because we identify a bug -- even a serious bug like this -- doesn't mean it necessarily gets fixed for release. We can only test the software -- we can't compel Coda to fix things.
