Darcy, be fair, you asked him how things are set up and he told you.
I asked him how his GPO was set up, and he wrote the above, which has
nothing to do with how his GPO is set up. I *know* that GPO isn't a
choice in "MIDI OUT" (unless you are running GPO Studio). So why did
John post that information? It wasn't relevant to the question. Based
on this answer, it's entirely possible John is very confused and
getting Finale softsynth sounds instead of GPO sounds, which would
explain his disappointment with the sound quality.
