With Finale 2006, if you are using GPO Finale Edition or the
"Notation"
set in GPO Full, you should CHECK the box "Use unified keyswitches" in
HP Preferences.
Is checked, of course. Still no pizz unless I load FinGPO KS patch.
Then you clearly aren't using the "Notation" versions of the GPO
instruments.
You don't have to use the "Notation" version. You can use the regular
version... BUT like I said, if you do, you HAVE to UNcheck "Use unified
keyswitches."
You also have to give the staff an appropriate staff name (i.e.,
"Violin"), otherwise the non-unified keyswitches don't work.
In another word, HP is left to default, which has
all the GPO specific options enabled.
You can't do that if you are using the non-notation version of GPO.
You have to do what I said in my last post.
I don't and never use Wizard, by
the way. I just create new file and loaded up FinGPO, creating a new
instrument for GPO-1. Again, if I don't assign KS, no pizz.
I already explained why that doesn't work. Please reread my last post.
