Hi David, don't get me wrong - that's not what I'm saying or impying. It's just that my view of the difference leads me to think that it transcends the possibly of it being down to taste. Can I ask what kind of playback arrangement you have there, are you listening on monitoring or Hi-Fi grade equipment, or something else? I'm quite perpared to believe at the end of it that you may just like the soundfont better, but please excuse me for wanting to rule out a few obvious possibilities first.
