If I open a file in MacFin 2006 - and I don't do anything to it, just
print it or something, when I go to close it, I get a dialog box

This is infuriating and interferes with my batch processing using
quickeys.
Anyone know what this is or if there's a way around it?
Are you opening files created with an earlier version of Finale? If so,
you could batch convert them all to 2006 and you would probably solve
the problem.
I get the dialog even with Fin2006 files I have created and saved and
reopened.
Only thing I've done is to play them.
Close program and I'm asked if I want to save them. This used to happen
with some earlier versions, but I thought they had fixed that.
Probably just something along the lines of what someone had mentioned a
month or so ago while we were waiting for the upgrade, about how new
code often opens old bugs again.
Maybe they can fix this one, too, on their way to fixing EPS export in
Windows. :-)
