Unfortunately I have little hopes that figured bass will ever be
possible with the chord tool and with playback, simply because the
direction Finale is going at the moment is a very different one, and
because figured bass is probably something only used by a minority of
Finale users.
But who knows...
(I wouldn't be surprised though if the next version of Sibelius would
have this...)
