Here's one that has me stumped at the moment. On a single staff, I have two different instruments defined for layers 1 and 2, each with their own MIDI channel. How do I change MIDI controller data (volume, pitch bend, etc.) for the instrument on layer 2? Editing continuous MIDI data with the MIDI Tool only affects the instrument on layer 1, regardless of which layer is currently selected. Surely there's a way around this? I'm on Finale 2004a for Windows.
