Does it matter if the content is vector-based only?
Resolution is important when images in others come from other formats, but as the are scalable as vectors without loosing quality, it doesn't seem to me that resolution has anything to do with Finale- produced pdf's. The printer's resolution is very important to get sharp results. There are so many options in producing pdfs that I am not sure that this answer is complete nor 100% true.
