Hey all,

I'm trying to create graphics based on certain Maestro articulations which I will be inserting into a Pages document. (For reasons I don't want to get into right now, the articulations need to be graphics, not font characters). But I would like the whitespace in the graphics to be transparent, so that if the document background behind the graphic shows through.

Is there some way to create a graphic (PNG, PDF, EPS, whatever) with a transparent background? I don't need to do this from Finale, and the graphic file format doesn't matter, so long as I can make the background behind the articulation transparent when I save the file.
