Hi Karen,
In recent versions of Finale, clip files work exactly the same as
copy and insert. There is no particular advantage to using clip files.
And again, Ryan really needs to use Robert's Mass Edit plugin for this.

• It may not be necessary to create an extra measure to insert into
once you see how this works. But until you see how it works, I
have found that this is the best thing to do.

Copy and replace isn't helpful either since I have to
set the key and time signatures, etc. - we all know
the issues.
These particular files are in FinMac 2004. But I do
have 2006 installed and running if that affects the
answers...
