I see.
So, when you say lost entry, the frames become blank or rests that
indicates empty measures, or all the measures get deleted?  You said
closing the file without saving won't get you entries back.  How was the
file size?  Did it shrunk?

I have been using FinMac2006 every day on 2 Macs.  One of them is set to
jump to next measure, and the other is not.  One of them is set to do
not auto space, and the other does.  They must be irrelevant since I
haven't seen the said bug.  I have nor used any 3rd party plug-in for
Finale, and no special fonts whatsoever.

I am just trying to see the variables here if there is a clue.  Any
setting you use which is altered from default that you might think it is
related?
