Bull-pucky. We have three iBooks here, and everyone is using a 17 inch Samsung Syncmaster screen. Mine has been working for two years without a hitch, and everyone else;s has been used for over a year... all with iBooks. I got this screen because all my Samsung stuff has been particularly hardy and useable.


The iBook just has screen mirroring, while the Powerbook allows you to use both the internal and the external screen as an "extended" desktop. However, there is software available for the iBook to use this feature, too.
