Actually, you probably don't want to run from Finale folder.  I am
familiar with VISE.  Unlike InstallerShield, VICE uses generic
unvise.exe (they are Mac installer company!) and it is somewhat safer to
run from Add/Remove _in general_ especially when you have ran more than
one VISE installed applications.  In my case, unvise.exe link was
already broken.

David, I didn't try Safe Mode since I believed Finale won't run on Safe
Mode assuming it will look for MIDI/Sound driver.  But before I saw your
post, I was able to remedy the problem.

I uninstalled as the 2nd time but this time I went to look into
registry.  Surprise, surprise.  There are tons under Class_Root(!),
which I wasn't too comfortable deleting around, but I deleted all the
Current_User registry that had Finale on it.  The following installation
got it working again.  Whew..

Boy, am I glad I work on Mac!!
