Microsoft can't seem to clean up after its own programs, so I don't 
know why we should expect Finale to manage it.

If it were as simple as we all seem to think, it would be fixed, 
right?

Well, clearly, it's just not as simple as we, on the outside looking 
in, *think* it is.

So, we should register our bug reports with MakeMusic and leave it at 
that. I'm sure no one is more aware of the problems than the 
development team themselves. The bug reports are essential for the 
MakeMusic marketing people to know that they need to direct the 
programmers to work on these problems.
