I already gave up on this. I simply Cmd+Click the open space, and
enjoy
looking at the Legacy Finale Tool Icons(TM) and enjoy the nonsense
assignment numbers
Ha! Yes, I noticed the extremely old tool icons, some of which have the
names associated with pre-2002 tools (like Mass Mover instead of Mass
Edit) as well as the assignment numbers (zero is included?!)
But if I wanted to click on an icon, why wouldn't I just click on the
icon in the Tool palette? Instead of cmd-click, then point and click, I
would just point and click.
