I have an i860. Because of some kind of licensing issue we cannot get the
i865 in the US. The only difference is the CD printing capability.
I really like this printer. The quality is excellent and the ink cost is
reasonable. And the black ink is archival.
I prefer music printed by inkjet. It looks more like music from a press than
does a laser.

Several Canon printers can print on CDs. I have a slightly older i865
which does a fine job printing on CDs. It has single ink cartridges. I
just ordered some today, from a third party supplier, they cost 1.49 Euros
per colour if I buy 6 of each kind. That is very cheap.
