I think you can with some recent BIOSes, but I have no actual support 
for that. I may just be imagining this. It appears to be possible, as 
Googling for "boot windows pc from usb drive" produces lots of links 
with explanations of how to do it. But I'm sure it requires a recent 
PC, and probably a configuration change. If the PC has the BIOS 
password-protected, you probably wouldn't be able to do it. Most 
"lab" PCs or machines in a public place like an Internet cafe really 
ought to have the BIOS locked down to prohibit this, so it would 
probably limit the usability of booting from a USB thumb drive.
