Hello All, I'm working on a trio with piano, violin and cello and Finale isn't playing back the dynamics consistently the way they are entered in the score.
I'm using FinMac 2006d and Bill Duncan's 2-staff+chord-grand-staff template. I'm using the full GPO (not the one that comes with Finale) version 1.1.8.004 and Library version 2.0. I'm using the Steinway Piano (Bank 1, ch 1), Violin 1 Gagli PL1 (Bank 1, ch 2), Cello 2 Solo (Bank 1, ch 3) patches from the Notation patch list. Human Playback is set to Classical and under Garritan Personal Orchestra, Activate GPO Support is set to Always. Everything else is set to the defaults. Here's what's happening. Intermittently it will play correctly but mostly not. It will ignore the dynamic settings for the violin and cello but play the piano ones correctly at the beginning. Later there is a a piano cresc./decres. entered as ppp < mp > ppp over 3 measures. The mp is on beat 3 of the middle measure and is set to playback from the position in the measure. Usually it will not do the <> but instead wait until beat one of m. 3 to play at mp. I've tried everything I can think of and want to be writing music instead of tinkering with software (don't we all!).
