You should stick with your tried and trusted 'long winded' method like I have.

You would have already saved yourself time.
I was pulled up for suggesting this only a few digests back - but there you go,
each to his own method!

Finalescript - not that simple is it really guys?

That's just like saying, you can save time by not programming a macro which will, once you got to work, save you more time than the time you would have saved.

You were not pulled up for suggesting this, only the question at the time was "how do you do it in Finalescript" and you replied "don't use it", which didn't answer the question. You are now doing exactly the same again.

If John can solve the problems he is having with Finalescript, he might be able to save a lot of time in the future. Of course, he could instead just save the time on finding the solution, but then he will waste a lot more time in the future.

Unfortunately I do not know the answer to John's problem. But I am sure if it can be solved, John could save at least 10 seconds on every booklet he will ever print in the future. Which, if he prints as many as I do, will be a lot of life time.
