The question is how do you get both in the same score, round brackets for
cautionary accidentals, and square brackets for editorial accidentals.
That, I agree, is a problem.
I guess one way to do that is to use the font symbol as an (autoplacing)
articulation, and then respace with the appropriate setting in music
spacing. Not sure whether that will work well.
