Hmm, Finale enhancements just for Mac include:
Font embedding in EPS files (we were supposed to have had that already
- the option appears in black, accepts my click, but doesn't actually
do it, for several versions now)
Better speed and redraws. I'll have to see that to know HOW much
faster. Antialiasing for slurs, not that I really needed that.
Horizontal scrolling. It says for the Mac Mighty Mouse, but I hope it
will be for other mouses as well.
Runs natively on new Intel Macs AND Power PC Macs.
Roll-over tool tips. I sure hope I can turn that off! Sounds annoying.
For Mac and Windows users, I'm a little disappointed not to see
improvements and bug fixes in the Repeat Tool and Chord Tool announced,
but they might actually be there and not be announced.
Linked parts and video synchronisation are big new features! Whee,
can't wait to see that.
I see pickup measures are fixed somewhat, meaning the weirdness that
would happen with tuplets in pickup measures is fixed, but what about
the other stuff? Is that fixed too?
Update brackets and groups. Hmm, I've been managing that for a while
now with plugin help; could this render those plugins obsolete? I
wouldn't think so, based on other features that implemented plugin
functionality in an incomplete way.
