Is it because no matter what happens to the document when you resize it in
layout mode, the dynamic mark is in the same exact spot?
This is just one of several advantages: The auto-placement is much
better for note attached expressions, they can avoid a low note, and be
placed accurately in relation to the note.
Playback is also more accurate.
