The ONLY time there is static is when there are 1/6th notes played
quickly.

this short excerpt, for anyone to see if they can reproduce the
static in the playback, and hopefully suggest a solution to this
problem.
A good test to narrow the problem further would be to simply change
the playback for that file first to the soundfont playback and then to
your soundcard's midisynth, or to an external hardware synth attached
to your computer, and see if the static goes away.
