No. It is simply not geared towards classical editing. It does not support source/destination cut, and 4 point editing. It's crossfade editor is useless for serious classical editing.

Most of the big classical producers now use Sequoia (they used to use SonicStudio, which was Mac based, and an OS X version is on the horizon, but so far SonicStudio has only talked about it and noone has seen it. Apparently a demo will be out "soon". It is probably too late to pull the market back to the Mac, but it might get a niche market.)

At the moment there is, to my knowledge, nothing available on the Mac which can be used for this special task.
