Oops, my bad. I had not noticed this option. I guess this solves it, unless you wanted to use that text somewhere. Ideally (as with part names) you would have total control over the formatting, so you could control the font formatting and even apply the hidden style to some or all of the text.
But your basic point is correct. Does this not solve the problem of the staff name field for Johannes? You just put your titles into your template with global scope and set the score insert to blank. No more thinking about it.
