Personally I would say that Cue notes are the area where Finale has most deficits. The idea to use a staff style to hide the cue notes in score view seems completely ridiculous to me. The solution might have been to have a Cue notes staff style, which would automatically hide and show cue notes where appropriate. However, I find the layer system so completely inadequate foe cue notes, that I am hoping that it will be completely rethought, so that we end up with a cue note tool, which works similar to mirrors.
