This is a heads up for the finale list. If anyone is using the
Fughetta font (by Blake Hodgetts) and has downloaded it's FAN file
from the excellent Finale site,
http://www.finaletips.nu/downloads.php , you will find that your
slurs, ties and articulations are way too far removed from the
noteheads.
The Fughetta.fan file is not very well done when you look under the
hood and inspect each character. (Program Options: Edit: Font
Annotation: Open Fughetta.fan) This is easy to fix, although a bit
tedious. Just make the bounding box tight around each character (or
just the characters that you need if you are just using it for
noteheads).
I'll send Jari a better FAN file, but in the meantime, you might just
want to do it yourself.
The mystery to me is why this didn't seem to adversely affect all my
previous versions of Finale. Hmmm...
