Hello, capella is a very popular music notation program here in Germany. It is widely used by hobbyists and semi-professionals. The distrubutor WHC offers great support and provides a big library of free scores as well as alternative music fonts. The program also has nice features like the virtual keyboard for note entry, colored notes and a Python scripting interface. Nevertheless capella isn't as flexible as Finale because it lacks most of Finale's score tweaking features.
