Yes, and that's what we're talking about -- preferences. That's the only difference.

Actually. Chuck was responding to Will's *first* question, which was about setting the default view (Page View vs. Scroll View vs. Studio View).

Chuck made a small mistake here. The option is found in Finale 2007 - > Preferences -> Program Options -> New (not View).

and Noel said for Windows:

  Edit > Program Options > New;

So yes, on Mac, the Program Options menu is found in the standard place for all Preferences in OS X. On Windows, it's in the Edit menu (which seems logical enough to me, but I'm not a Windows user).

I thought of one more difference. As of Finale 2007, Enharmonic Spelling is also in the Finale 2007 -> Preferences menu on Mac. I'm not sure where it is on Windows.
