What I've noticed is that many articulations no longer appear in the same place as before. This has nothing to do with font annotation files, unless MM changed the ones for their fonts. I've upgraded some of my files as far as 2006d but cannot bring them into 2007 because of this problem. Of course I reported it to MM many months ago. I suggest anyone else do the same now.
FWIW: It is usually necessary to convert a really old file to an intermediate version. I find Finale 2002 to be a very good intermediate step before converting a file to recent versions. Unfortunately, Fin02 will no longer run on currently shipping Macs, so I'm gradually scouring my files and upgrading them at least that far. > -----Original Message----- > From: dc [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, October 11, 2006 09:39 AM > To: 'finale-shsu.edu' > Subject: [Finale] Converting old files: ties and slurs > > Opening in 2007 some of my 2004 files, I notice that ties and slurs are not > in the same place.
