Answering my own query, I've checked the new Mac Finale2k7a Type 1
postscript fonts installed with the updater and MM appears to have
finally fixed both (1). the bug with the Maestro double trem slash
(keys shift-2) and the triple trem slash (key opt-') and (2). have
unbundled the truetype and type 1 fonts into separate suitcase and
can now be selected correctly.
also I can report that the Special Tools bug where double/upstemmed
note-flags were displaced off the page has been fixed.
