You can use EPS quite reliably on a non-postscript printer if you print to PDF first and then print (or not) the PDF. You get better results than with TIFF files, because they can be scaled without any problem.
I have generated a PDF of the music from Finale. I then have Adobe Acrobat generate a EPS file. But when I open the file in Illustrator, Adobe Jenson doesn't show up (and worse, none of the music fonts or notes either :( Boy you talk about frustration! Any help appreciated.
