Just had need to add a staff to an existing huge score. I had previously defined expressions to be assigned (via a created list) to certain areas of the score AND to each and every part - with the exception, of course, of the new staff. Is there any way to retroactively now have all those expressions assigned to all parts (including rehearsal numbers, ralls, etc) which are not specifically note-assigned to now be registered in the NEW staff's extracted part without having to hand-enter each and every damned one of them in that part?

Yes, very easy.

Right-click on one of the offending expressions, select Edit Expression Assignment. Select the staff list, if it is not already, and hit Edit. Add the new staff into the staff list definition. Don't forget to consider the parts and the score columns. Hit OK, then move on to other staff lists if you want. Just make sure that you SELECT the staff list you want for THAT expression before you return to the desktop. All the other expressions that share the staff lists you've edited will now have the correct behaviour.
