Commentary invited.
While I don't mean to make general comment on the choice of layers for
various elements of drum notation. one can change the behavior of any
pair of layers to show the behavior between layers 1 and 2 which are the
default in a standard installation. This is accomplished in "Document
options > layers" or "Document options > layer options".
