I also didn't mention the fact, these are NOT long pieces I'm proofing. If it's an ouverture or suite-- the opening movement is usually the longest-- tops is about 130 measures. The dances afterwards are much shorter, but there seems to be a lot of Chaconnes and Rondeaus that are a bit lengthy. Thank goodness it's not Mahler I'm working on.
